Well- Beginnings
Well- Beginnings is a 5 week wellbeing program targeted at children aged 8-10 years.
Well-Beginnings will teach your child the importance of understanding and controlling their emotional and social behaviours. The core areas taught over the five weeks include resilience, confidence, self-worth and social skills.
These core areas will support your child to develop and sustain a more confident view of themselves, their strengths and abilities as well as positive communication and interaction habits. Weekly sessions include educational content, skill development practise, and breathing and mindfulness techniques.
Also included is a parent support booklet with information on how to incorporate strategies learned into the home environment. This is a comprehensive document that is written to coincide with your child’s program booklet. It details further development of each weekly topic and assists you to continue your child’s wellbeing journey with them at home.
Well-Beginnings is an intimate program, enabling the lessons to be personalised for the specific needs of your child.
Well-I-AM Girls
Well-I-AM Girls is an 8-week wellbeing program targeted at pre-teen and teenage girls aged 10-14 years.
Well-I-AM will equip your daughter with knowledge and skills to navigate and take control of her emotional wellbeing.
There are 5 core areas of wellbeing that are taught over the 8 weeks. These include:
- Confidence
- Resilience
- Self-worth
- Nutrition
- Physical activity
These core areas will assist your daughter to build confidence, resilience and self-worth, enabling her to identify and admire the unique characteristics that make her so wonderfully awesome and valuable, while also providing the knowledge and guidance to make smart nutritional choices and develop positive physical activity habits. Weekly sessions integrate movement, stretching and mindfulness practices to further develop self-awareness, coping strategies and physical wellbeing.
Well-I-AM is an intimate program, enabling the lessons to be personalised for the specific needs of your daughter.
Well-I-AM Boys
Well-I-AM Boys is an 8-week wellbeing program targeted at young men aged 10-14 years.
Well-I-AM will equip your son with knowledge and skills to navigate and take control of his emotional wellbeing.
There are 5 core areas of wellbeing that are taught over the 8 weeks, including:
- Confidence
- Resilience
- Self-worth
- Nutrition
- Physical activity
These core areas will assist your son to build confidence, resilience and self-worth, enabling him to identify and admire the unique characteristics that make him so wonderfully awesome and valuable, while also providing the knowledge and guidance to make smart nutritional choices and develop positive physical activity habits.
There is a focus on controlling emotions, including anger, and reactions to emotions, including physical reactions. There is also a focus on relationships and plenty of education about the negative emotional effects of gaming and device overuse.
Weekly sessions integrate mindfulness practices and physical activities to further develop self-awareness, coping strategies and physical wellbeing. Movement and stretching is utilised to encourage the boys to slow down and nurture their bodies. Many boys focus their physical energy on strength and endurance, not understanding the vital role stretching plays in both their mind and body.
